Borna Buljan signs for Dugopolje: HNK Hajduk Split's 2023 sensation in new team

Borna Buljan (21), the goalkeeper who was key to HNK Hajduk Split's youth success in 2023, has signed for Dugopolje. The club from Split's hinterland finished fourth in the Prva NL last season, the official name for Croatia's second league. Hajduk are currently second in HNL with 68 points, 18 points behind leaders Dinamo Zagreb.

Buljan was the first-choice goalkeeper for Hajduk's brilliant youth team that sensationally reached the Champions League final three years ago. He played against Shakhtar, Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund and Milan. Hajduk won all those matches but lost 0-5 to AZ in the final. The following season, Buljan joined the senior team.
