Hajduk in a Crucial Match Against Raków
HNK Hajduk Split faces one of the most important matches in recent years on Thursday at 7 PM in Częstochowa. After a 2:2 draw with Legia, the Whites will face Raków in a Europa Conference League play-off, with the winner advancing to the league phase of European competition. Sports director Robert Graf highlights that the financial gap is a complete abyss, and success in the Europa League determines the possibility of competing with Dynamo.
The Sold-Out Stadium Awaits Hajduk
Hajduk will be greeted by a sold-out Miejski Stadion Piłkarski Raków. All available tickets have been sold, but the term 'sold-out stadium' has a different meaning compared to most Polish stadiums. Raków's home stadium hosts 5,500 spectators, the smallest capacity in the Ekstraklasa for the 2026/27 season. The second smallest stadium is Piast Gliwice with 9,736 seats, while Lech's stadium in Poznan hosts nearly 43,000 people.
The Stadium Is Essentially a Series of Additions to the Old Raków Home
The stadium is located in Raków, at Limanowskiego 83, and has hosted matches since the mid-20th century. The most significant renovation began in 2020, with the construction of new stands and heating for the pitch. The stadium was opened in 2021 with a capacity of 5,500 seats, but it did not match the sports growth of the club. Raków became Polish champion and entered Europe, while the infrastructure remained far behind the first team's achievements. Due to the lack of UEFA category, the club had to play some European matches outside Częstochowa in previous years.
