HNK Hajduk Split has received an official offer from Belgian club Genk for midfielder Nika Sigura worth around four million euros. The offer is close to the amount Hajduk is seeking for the player, and a transfer could be finalised after Hajduk's return leg against Raków in the Conference League playoffs, scheduled for Thursday at 19:00. Sigura, who is 22, has scored nine goals and provided five assists for Hajduk this season in just four HNL matches, with the team currently on seven points and sitting fourth in the table, two points behind leaders Dinamo Zagreb. His next fixture is against NK Lokomotiva Zagreb at home on Saturday, August 31st. Both Hajduk and Sigura agree it is time for the next step in his career, and interest from other clubs could drive up the final fee in the closing days of the transfer window.
