Hajduk won 4-0 against Osijek at Poljud. Before one of the most important matches of the season, we talked to Stanko Bubalo about Hajduk's form, Mark Livaja, young players, Gonzalo Garcia, Michele Segi and the relationship with Dinamo. Bubalo is a former striker born in 1973 in Široki Brijeg, and he is especially remembered by Hajduk fans. In the Split club, he spent only one season, but he scored 21 goals in 34 matches. Especially memorable were his two goals against Dinamo in a 3-1 win in 2001, in the season when Hajduk won the Croatian championship. Hajduk won 4-0 against Osijek. Osijek came in a very good form, but Hajduk declassified them. How did you see the match? Osijek made a good start, which was good for me. However, at Poljud, whoever comes is not a favorite. Hajduk needed this win after these European events and I think they deservedly won. Maybe 4-0 is a bit too much for Osijek, but these are matches where Hajduk simply must win. I congratulate them. I played for both teams and I know how it looks like on Poljud when Osijek comes. I'm glad that Osijek started well, but I'm even happier that Hajduk won and approached the top in the battle for the first two or three places. Hajduk continued the trend from last season, where many young players not only got a chance but also became starters in their positions. Who among the young players do you like the most? I'm following them, but I wouldn't single out anyone now. That's Hajduk's future. Hajduk has always been on the wings of its young players, with the right reinforcements, they have had good results. It's not easy because then when a mistake happens, questions are immediately raised about what and how. You have to istrpjeti those kids. They give everything, and it's not easy to play for Hajduk. Hajduk was in the last two years forced to win the title because Dinamo was not well organized, it's a shame that it wasn't used. Now Dinamo is organized, brought reinforcements, and that's a big problem for Hajduk. Hajduk is currently 4th in HNL with 7 points, 2 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss in the first 4 games. In the next game, Hajduk will face NK Lokomotiva Zagreb away.
