HNK Hajduk Split has decided to increase ticket prices for an upcoming home match to help a seriously injured supporter. For the 7th round SuperSport HNL match against Slaven Belupo on Sunday, 13 September, the club will add one euro to every ticket sold, with all collected funds donated for the treatment of 28-year-old fan Miše Sabljić.

Miše Sabljić is a supporter from Široki Brijeg who suffered a severe brain and spinal cord injury during an accident on the island of Brač. He is currently being treated at KBC Split, and his family is raising funds for his further recovery. The plan is to transfer Sabljić to a specialized clinic in Heidelberg, Germany for a six-month treatment program.

The total treatment costs are estimated at 296,746 euros, with additional medical transport costs of 22,850 euros. Hajduk aims to contribute to this humanitarian effort with its gesture. "We call on all fans to fill Poljud in as large numbers as possible and be with our team on the pitch, but more importantly to be with Miša in his most important, life match," the club stated.

This is not the first time the Split club has engaged in helping its fans during difficult times. Previously, jerseys of Michele Šego and Marin Šotić, and socks of Darija Marešić and Marko Livaja were auctioned off, with the raised money also going to humanitarian causes. Such actions demonstrate the strong bond between the club and its community.

Currently, Hajduk leads the HNL table with 13 points from six matches played, with a record of four wins, one draw, and one loss. The team has scored 15 goals, conceded only five, and has a positive goal difference of ten. Their recent form sequence is WWWWD, showing consistent performance.

The 7th round match against Slaven Belupo is scheduled for Sunday, 13 September, with an 8:00 PM kick-off at Poljud stadium. Slaven Belupo currently occupies eighth place in the league. For Hajduk, this is an opportunity to strengthen their position at the top, especially considering that second-placed Dinamo Zagreb also has 13 points but has played one fewer match. The detailed schedule of all upcoming fixtures is available on fixtures.

The club hopes for a large turnout from supporters to raise the maximum amount for Miše Sabljić's treatment. Tickets for the match are already on sale, with the additional euro from each sale going directly to the aid fund. Fans who wish to support this initiative can do so by purchasing a ticket and coming to Poljud on Sunday evening. The team lineup for this match will be available on the squad page.
