HNK Hajduk Split and Dinamo are playing a match in the 33rd round of the SuperSport HNL, which is one of the most important matches of the season. Four rounds before the end, Rijeka and Hajduk have 56 points each, while Dinamo has 55. The biggest derby in Croatian football is very important in the fight for the championship title. In three derbies this season, Hajduk has won twice against Dinamo with one draw. The Split team is currently in a bad streak of four rounds without a win, while the Zagreb team has won three times and lost once in the same period. In the 37th minute of the match, due to continuous complaining to referee Matej Erceg, Stjepan Badrov, the team manager of HNK Hajduk, was excluded. This is not the first time Badrov has had issues with SHNL referees, as after the match against Lokomotiva in the 29th round, it was officially noted that he had verbally attacked the fourth referee. Stjepan Badrov is the team manager of the first team of Hajduk and is responsible for organizing trips, training, registrations, organizing matches, and taking care of the needs of players and coaches. He started playing football in his hometown club Vitez in Bosnia. In his home country, he also played for Travnik and GOŠK from Gabela, while in Croatia he played for Rudeš and Segesta. He ended his football career in 2015 due to a serious injury. Six years later, he became the team manager of Hajduk. Badrov gained attention last February after the match against Varaždin in the 24th round of the SHNL, which ended 1:1. This was a missed opportunity for Hajduk in the fight for the title, as they had a man advantage for almost the entire second half. After the match, it was noted in the official minutes that Badrov had filed a verbal complaint that the balls used in the game were not sufficiently inflated and had to be replaced several times.
