HNK Hajduk Split has suffered a major setback as Roko Brajković, one of their most important players, has been injured. Brajković will miss the return match of the second qualifying round of the European League against Pafos due to an injury he sustained during Sunday's training.
How did the injury occur?
Brajković was injured during training and it is suspected that he has a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee. The club still hopes that the tests will show a milder version of the injury, but it is expected that the more severe version will be confirmed, which would keep Brajković out of training for at least six to nine months.
Who will play instead of Brajković?
There are several players who are competing to enter the first 11 instead of Brajković. Michele Šego is one of the most natural replacements, but Abdoulie Sanyang Bamba and other players are also in the game.
