HNK Hajduk Split sold out all tickets for their Conference League match against Ajax in under an hour. The sale, which started at 10:00 on Monday, was exclusively open to the club's members.

The sell-out was faster than anticipated. Of the 15,500 tickets available for general sale, a significant portion were allocated to season ticket holders, whose packages included the Conference League group stage. The remaining tickets were gone in about 50 minutes. Approximately 1,700 seats in the southwest stand were reserved for Ajax fans, and Poljud Stadium is expected to host over 30,000 spectators for the match on 15 November.

The rapid sell-out is another strong signal regarding the need for a new stadium. In an official club statement, it was emphasised that the fans are sending a clear message. A club representative said that a large majority of fans are clearly stating that Hajduk needs a new, modern football stadium. He added that Hajduk and its fans need a new modern football stadium, built from the ground up, to be the pride of Split, Dalmatia, and all of Croatia.

This event comes as Hajduk are in solid form domestically. The team currently sits 4th in the HNL with 10 points from five matches, having recorded three wins and two draws in their last five games. Their most recent result was a 1-0 win over Slaven Belupo. The current league standings are always available in our standings overview.

The match against Ajax, one of the most famous clubs in the competition, is scheduled for 15 November at 18:45 at Poljud. This will be the first-ever meeting between the two sides, and Hajduk will aim to harness the support of a full stadium for a key step in the Conference League group stage.
