The biggest Croatian derby between HNK Hajduk Split and Dinamo Zagreb will be played on Saturday, 10 October, kicking off at 3 PM at the Poljud Stadium. The HNL commissioner has made the decision to schedule this key match for the 11th round of the SuperSport HNL.

Hajduk enters this derby as the second-placed team in the table, with 16 points from eight matches played. Dinamo also has 16 points, but from seven games, which currently keeps them at the top. The Whites suffered a heavy 3:0 defeat to Rijeka in their last match, while Dinamo beat Lokomotiva 3:2. Before the derby, Hajduk will also have to play their postponed match against Rijeka, which was moved due to calendar conflicts with UEFA commitments.

HNL's return to HRT

After this derby, the HNL will return to HRT. The first match after the break will be Hajduk's home game against Varaždin on Sunday, 18 October at 3 PM. Afterwards, Dinamo will play Slaven Belupo to close the round. The schedule for rounds 11 to 13 will be published after the Croatian Cup matches are reviewed and aligned with European commitments.

For Hajduk, this will be a chance for revenge after the last meeting with Dinamo, which ended in a 1:3 defeat in March. They are currently second in the HNL with 16 points, and their next fixture is against league leaders Dinamo at home.
