HNK Hajduk Split have confirmed the transfer of 22-year-old midfielder Khalil Fayad from Montpellier. The young player has signed a contract that will keep him at the Split club until the summer of 2029, arriving at Poljud on Saturday.
The transfer was reported by 24sata Sport. Fayad will wear the number eight shirt for Hajduk. He is expected to join training as soon as it resumes on Sunday. His arrival strengthens a squad currently sitting fourth in the HNL table with 10 points from five games, just two points behind leaders Osijek.

Khalil Fayad was born on June 9, 2004, in Montpellier. He holds dual French and Moroccan nationality. For Montpellier's first team, he made a total of 87 official appearances, scoring four goals and providing three assists.
